What I think is the game should release quests which live around or are better than past quests released years ago. I still believe While Guthix Sleeps to be the best quest ever released, and next month it will be six years of age. Now I believe quests are working a bit too hard in their surroundings facets (Freneskae) and quests introduced for one special reason - an whole quest was dedicated just to the return of Zaros, and it was quite too hyped.
And I really do agree with you about Plagues End - No revolution could be projected in 5 minutes and successfully completed in 2 minutes, with the highlight being kicking down a door and offing every member of this opposition single-handed.
What I would prefer is quests in a slower rate, but these quests be great. They have not published a pursuit I rank in my top favourite quests since 2009. (The Chosen Commander) And when they followed up with'The Mighty Fall' (which perplexed me the way they entailed the Dorgeshunn - that quest line was supposed to have been finished by now) and that I thought they should of quit while they were ahead and abandoned the Cave goblins from the picture entirely. It had been just another stereotypical pursuit with nothing to make it that special. 3 boss fights and running around a place made particularly for the pursuit.
In terms of the lack of quests altogether, I think one of the reasons that we are getting less quests is because we already have so many. We're reaching 200, and again in 2005 when 29 quests were released there weren't many. And also, today, using the entire world filled with Completionist Capes, the significant reaction to the majority of quests today is'2 hours to receive my Comp back rip' and they rush through the quest as quickly as possible without actually noticing any of the articles / storyline, and those people would vote no to a brand new poll for RS07 Gold longer quest releases. So I think polling it might not work. IMO, less quests with better quality is where it should be, and right now they're delivering in the less quests department only fine, but far better quality isn't really that great.
