It amazes me just how far this community despises everything outside of the Park. Not counting 2k18 that was cringey crap concur, it wasn't that awful, but I enjoyed it somewhat sometimes, but damn the number NBA MT Coins of cutscenes they put before every NBA game? I'd enjoy mycareer narrative from enjoying playground if you weren't impeeded by it. When you need to grind through one gamemode to get to another, I really don't like. I despise having to grind 1 gamemode to get great in another. It would be so much better if park games got you badges / VC to use in park.
It is not about park dude, we simply want to hoop. I'm not buying a BB video sport to watch 1000 futile cutscenes, I have movies for that. I just need to play my games then that is it and visit the clinic facility. I really don't mind the interviews and an cutscene however this prelude sh*t is out this out world in duration of uselesness at a BB movie game. The cut scenes are what make the game much more realistic. You know what was dull back in the old 2k days? Playing with career game with nothing between following career game. Hundreds of games in a row with no opinions on how your player is performing in the league, on the team or even off the court.
It was"only hoop". This isn't even the end of this first month of this game. Obviously everybody would like to mill and get badges as quickly as possible. I am pleased that we can hold cut scenes to jump. I wish we could hold Y and bypass everything at once but we have made progress in that regard. I absolutely despise the stories. I miss those days when you get post match interviews and would only go game by game. I always thought it was realistic instead of having your walk through to your time, when you would just play to your place in the draft. I stopped buying NBA 2K after you became Freq and did that ass shake dance. God have mercy I hated that story.
Your buddy that eventually expired was so annoying his passing was a relief to buy mt that is fucking. If they could just make a mode in which you play in college or whatever and make your place in the draft (or d-league) then focus on playing from game to game which would be nice. I would agree if they didn't consistently make you a butt who must prove people wrong and seemed realistic. Why can't I come up like Zion? Although I am really curious how many ppl actually want a story within the game I could do with that. Probably over half the community since there are alot. Put more attention to the generational bugs and glitches, toning on those"scripted" animations, and other characteristics of the game play that may be better.
