However, Classic doesn't have the exact feel, it seems. Blizzard created Classic specifically to feel like Vanilla WoW, and that mission was accomplished. The question is what are the move ahead? Blizzard sent out a personality creation survey to the Classic player base to gauge public interest, asking how they'd like prospective Burning Crusade articles to possibly be inserted into the title. Could it be best if you could continue your characters ahead into the"new" expansion? What if the servers for both versions of the game were different so that Classic wasn't murdered when The Burning Crusade published, starting the cycle all over again?
The WoW community seems on what they would rather have torn. On the flip side, we all waited more than a decade for Classic, and having it die -- whether by substitute or replacement of participant base -- by the addition of The Burning Crusade appears to be a nightmare.
