Meanwhile I stopped while farming two hours to attempting complete the subclass pursuit. How nice for those putting as a goal 2 critters that doenst predominate in almost any area but only during events that are random. Anything that green caterpillar thing is called in NA, or gorongo, can be found in Area 2 of the Forest. You might also do meseta pso2 the Naverius Time Attack Quest. I think that it's that one. Whichever Naverius quest starts off you by dropping you down rather than walking in. You and several waves of enemies right at the start fight and a wave of them has 4 Gorongos. Everytime.
The two CAN spawn without a Emergency Code happening. They can spawn anywhere else but they have rates that are noticeably lower. I've had success in these areas. Along with the spawn rate is obviously made even worse if your desire sensor is on. Well if you've got another 10 minutes to squander the Volcano/amduskian (sorry can't ever remember the exact titles of these) time strike also has guaranteed spawns for the dragon bois. However they spawn halfway through it and at the conclusion. Which is why I wasn't advocating it. And I usually wind up discovering Fordrans in Volcano Expedition with some simplicity.
Taking some customer orders with you during the Expedition to locate Fordrans can be more enjoyable and rewarding. Finding some exp for the main and sub as soon as you turn them in as well. And it doesn't feel like draining or time wasting. Just incase you or somebody else reading this doesn't know: Go select your assignment (Do not join a multi block zone yet). Open the main menu, then locate client orders, then select"Orders which can be completed in the current area". And flourish a listing of quests for that zone pops up and you'll be able to pick multiple! Then you can return and select multi block zone. PSO2 is fun. But I can agree it has its pieces. Here's to hoping you give it another go.
You can't permanently screw up your personality, even being entirely f2p. Mag can be reset with resources you are able to acquire in-game, depending on how badly you screwed it up it may takes a great deal of funds but compared to grinding BiS this is a very trivial grind. They're tackling all ability tree reset passes like candy plus they're per-character so if you have 3 characters on your account (even level 1 ones) you will get 3 passes whenever they're passed out. Those can be traded between personalities. You need to await the passes to be passed out tho. This is without considering that you can always pay minimal fee to accelerate this. Mags are about 3$ USD and abilities tree pages are fairly cheap too. 20-30$ can get you really far in PSO2 when it comes to quality of life but I do know some folks are not eager to invest a dime.
As for the cherry on the cake, you may barely screw up a personality (whether it's mag, ability shrub, etc) so it makes it unplayable. It is possible but you need to literally go the reverse of common sense about what is good for your character. Most case of"screw-up" I have seen were individuals exaggerating because they're missing out on a few stats like it'd gate them out of anything in PSO2. You will have stuff to do with a non min/max character and it will not gate you. PSO2 is player skills. Min/maxing is important and is a thing but a very good player can solo any endgame material as a set of buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta 12 individuals with similar equipment will struggle because they are not as good at PSO2. Do not forget to have fun and continue enjoying, people love to create everything a bigger deal than it is.
