When it is about a player's personal storage

  • "When it is about a player's personal storage chest We know it's D2R Items very important," Blizzard writes. "This changes will allow players to better organize their loot in three tabs (100 slots each) of storage space. It will also allow players to add more storage space for their items."

Numerous features of quality-of life have been modified. Players can now disable the compare item tooltip and also have possibility of turning the names of the items on or off at the press of the button. The game's automap has had its color tweaked for easier understanding. Players are also able to enable an in-game clock should they choose to do so. Blizzard states that overall load times will be much faster after Alpha and that characters will not spawn in a hostile area until the game has completed loading "preventing people from being attacked or harmed during the loading screen."

The players will be able to experience the new features coming into Diablo 2: Resurrected soon when the game's beta will launch in August. People who pre-order Diablo 2 on PC, Xbox, or PlayStation will be able to access an early access beta, with an open beta for those platforms following soon after. It appears, however, that the beta won't be available for players who plan to play on Nintendo Switch.

Fans also have Diablo 4 to look forward to. While the upcoming entry in the series won't be coming in 2021 and doesn't have a release dateyet, Blizzard has been regularly updating fans with information including how Diablo 4's PvP feature will work.

It turns out that there's a reason behind the restriction--21:9 is a bad idea for the game. Specifically, using an ultrawide aspect ratio can mean that players can be attacked from far ranges than the game was designed for. The enemies targeted by the extended Ultrawide range monitors simply don't recognize that Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder Items they're being attacked, and thus don't respond.
