Described as a "RuneScape-inspired RuneScape gold experience suitable for veterans of the franchise and newcomers alike." Melvor Idle has made its debut with its full launch. The game is free to test absolutely free for Android and iOS with an in-app purchase allows for an upgrade to full version. A paid-only version is also available on Steam with PS7.19.
"Players will discover a deep and endless combat system , with eight specific skills, numerous dungeons, bosses to vanquish and lore to uncover. Additionally, there is a complete and easy-to-use system that includes 15 non-combat skill sets to learn and each one with their own mechanics and interactions," reads a press release.
Players will also be able transfer their experiences and loot across multiple platforms through Melvor's cloud saving functionality. There are over 1100 objects to be discovered in addition to more that 40 pets available to take home.
Brendan Malcolm, Games by Malcs founder and the designer of Melvor Idle said: "It's been a long road to arrive at this stage however I am thrilled to to announce the full launch of Melvor Idle! V1.0 brings in a great deal of the features that people have been clamouring for and we are looking forward to seeing them enjoy the new abilities in astrology, including the final boss."
He continues to say that "the assistance that Jagex can provide with creative services and localisation in particular has been essential in helping us achieve our goals for the game by offering it to the widest possible global player."
While Melvor Idle has hit its 1.0 full release and left early access, this doesn't mean it's the end of development.
