I've never played RuneScape gold any MMORPGs since, to my eternal shame and loss. There are so many real-life concerns and I simply do not have time to allow them to lure me in. As with all games it is the most time-consuming, with endless levels to attain and items to collect. There have been deaths during or in the aftermath of hours-long binge sessions of RuneScape's more youthful but famous sibling World of Warcraft, which could also make it an intense game.
These days, you can often find me playing Quake or Half-Life or playing Team Fortress 2 - games which come with a vengeance leave their marks and are gone quickly. It's wonderful to play games you enjoy, and then let go of fairly quickly, rather than worrying about how many logs of wood are on my shelves or where I'll be fishing during tomorrow's session.
It's true that I do miss part of the never-ending grind and long-term engagement (and discomfort) that comes with RuneScape. In its third edition as 'RuneScape3' (from 2013) with additional content and a visual revamp, there's a hint of hope that maybe I'll return to it just to see how it's going, much as I would the old friend.
Publisher Jagex made it clear earlier this year that RuneScape will be released from early access on mobile in the summer. As of today, anyone can play its long-running MMORPG with iOS or Android.
RuneScape is completely free to play, but members have access to additional quests, skills and other things. You can check out the membership for free with a seven-day trial. The mobile versions support cross-play and cross-progression with PC which means you can hop between platforms and continue the same way you started.
Note that Buy RuneScape gold this version isn't Old School RuneScape, a version that's based off a build of 2007. The game has been available for download to download for iOS and Android from 2018. This is the full-blown RuneScape that Jagex has been constantly upgrading for the past 20 years.
