Diablo 2 Resurrected Main Attributes Guide

  • Diablo 2 Resurrected is still a role-playing game at heart. As such, you will have to customize your character's attributes upon level up, and doing so properly will ensure your character will be able to reach its full potential and become strong enough to take on the Nightmare and Hell modes. So in this guide, let us look at the attributes in Diablo 2 Resurrected and how to upgrade them.

There are seven different attributes in Diablo 2 Resurrected. They are Vitality, Strength, Dexterity, Stamina, Energy, Life, and Mana. Depending on your character's type of class, you need to focus on leveling up certain attributes and focus less on some others.

Strength - The basics of Strength is to increase your damage. But most importantly, most pieces of equipment, such as armor and weapons, have a strength requirement that you must meet to be used. We recommend having a minimum of 120 points allocated in Strength by the time you reach the max level. This way, you can ensure that every piece of equipment you find will be immediately usable.

Dexterity - It affects the damage done with long-range weapons like Bows. Additionally, Dexterity influences how effective you are at blocking attacks with your shield.

Vitality - A classic character attribute in most RPGs, Vitality benefits your character by increasing your life points. Vitality regulates both Stamina and Life. The higher this stat is, which can be improved upon level up, the higher the other two attributes will be. Different classes gain life at different rates, and some even start with higher Vitality than others. Most ranged classes like the Amazon and Sorceress will have lower Vitality than the Barbarian, for example.

Energy - Energy is a Character Attribute that determines how much mana a character has. The higher the Energy attribute, the more mana points the character possesses. Class builds usually ignore putting points into Energy, even for heavy spellcasters like the Sorceress and the Necromancer. This is because, by the later Arcs, you'll be able to find pieces of equipment that'll give you sufficient bonuses to your total mana.

Stamina - It is one of the key depletable stats in Diablo 2 Resurrected, as this is the stat that determines how long your character can continuously run at a time. Your stamina bar is the yellow line located directly to the right of your Life Orb. If you run out of Stamina completely, your character will be forced to walk, and you must wait until your Stamina bar starts recharging again.

Life - Life is the number of health points that a player character has. When your life reaches zero, your character dies, and you'll spawn back at your main encampment, depending on which Arc you're currently playing. You can use Healing Potions of all levels and Rejuvenation Potions to gain health points back.

Mana - It represents your character's ability to cast spells. Once depleted, it will be impossible for your character to use magic. Your total Mana is affected by how many points you have in Energy, and each class' skills vary in mana requirements. You can use any level of mana potions to restore your Mana.

Every time you level up, you get 5 attribute points which you can use to upgrade your Attributes. You can only upgrade Strength, Dexterity, Vitality, and Energy. Depending on your class, you should choose which to upgrade. These are the steps to upgrade your Attributes:

Press the A-Key or C-Key on your Keyboard to open the Character screen.
Tap on the plus button beside the attribute you want to upgrade.
    Confirm the upgrades.
