You're finding almost every update (except the WoFibc ones) targeted at your players group, which is engaging and OSRS Gold enjoyable. Please don't post if you aren't sure about the bullet points.
I don't think anyone says that being a capitalist is bad. It's unfortunate that the skill points are effectively RWT and sound of a squeal. Jagex is close to bankrupt, so let me answer each of your questions. Jagex is close to going bankrupt. I doubt that anyone would be averse to purchasing spins.. This is what drives a lot of people mad.
The Squeal provides poor value for money... it's a good argument. Jagex must make the squeal less expensive to ensure that RWT isn't as difficult to find in other places. Only 1% of players can effectively fund gains in xp... While I've never purchased a spin, my character has risen many levels thanks to exp by squealing.
Yelp was recently replaced by the sombre trolling... It was something I hadn't noticed. It will become apparent next time that I sign in or finish quests. Jagex might not be Cheap RS3 Gold profitable. Keep the squeal. Offer prizes other than lamps that are desirable. You can even exchange for them! I won two fish masks in the Squeal. Now, I'm gleeful at the price that has skyrocketed on the GE. At present, they're over 3 mil per piece.
It is common to find every update aimed towards your players group to be entertaining and enjoyable (except the WoFibc ones). Yes! Jagex is doing many things right. One of the reasons Jagex created the squeal is because people complain about the "grill." Therefore, Jagex answered that complaint by creating a system (the squeal) which allows users to speed up the speed they want to (giving the opportunity to win the skill lamp as a typical prize).
