New World: Additions Made by the Amazon Team

New World is entering the home court, and although the general players cannot play yet, the team is still maintaining its NDA alpha before release. Today's notes give us a glimpse of some adjustments and additions made by the Amazon team before the release of New World, including two new PvE faction mission types.
The patch notes are the second part of the ongoing alpha in June, and saw two new mission types in New World: assassination and elite. The assassination mission is... an assassination mission. You will find a high-level target and kill them. The case is closed. According to Amazon, the elite mission is for New World Accounts players to challenge some of the most powerful enemies in New World.
The declaration of war has also been updated to provide an influence race for those companies that are most active in the war raging at Aeternum. This means that companies that are more active than other companies are more likely to be selected as pioneers. In addition, if a territory is in conflict, faction companies will no longer be able to declare war, but companies that have at least 10% influence to bring a region into conflict are still eligible.
However, if no company contributes at least 10% of its influence, then the team does have something, and every company is eligible to declare war.
PVP has also undergone some changes. Amazon has reduced equipment durability loss at death and increased the number of XP players killed. New World seems to be looking back at some XP adjustments made in the last update, but reduced the XP required to upgrade after level 7 by 20% (if you remember, it initially increased by 40% earlier this month) . The team also doubled the XP gained from repeatable expedition missions and adjusted the XP gained from different crafting professions.
