1 afternoon

  • Exactly! We have not even gotten any Animal Crossing Items genuine new content besides... pumpkins? Every update so far has only been adding things from past matches. While it's nice to have updates to pull me back to the game it'd be even nicer to include new characters/events/furniture we haven't seen before.I thought it was just coincidental that the match was released through lock down. I really don't know what to think

There's a lot of things lost but a ton of developments too. Nowadays, I am not really amazed when a new software (like games) fail to include features of their previous iterations. The missing places I can understand using the regular updates and it seems to follow the Animal crossing mobile game model, but things like: villagers going in and outside homes, requesting to See your Home, hide-and-seek type miniature games, arbitrary activities like kicking around a soccer ball are something that gave villagers lifetime

Frankly, this is one of the reasons I could not really get into NH. Among my favourite things in NL was that you could just talk to the villagers and they'd always have something interesting to say about the town or at the time of day or the weather or what you or they were wearing and they would often provide you a bit of job or a question after only a few interactions. I believe I could count the amount of tasks I've been given in NH on one hand and even though I have not played that much they rarely tell me something new. I also really miss NL's music but I think that is the case for most of us

1 afternoon, I left a character called Jane believing somehow she'd react differently. She did not. The odd thing isthey added sassy comments but at the completely wrong areas. Much like villagers sass you for speaking to them more than once a day, or being gone for 5 days or whatever. Sass me for giving dumb answers to buy Animal Crossing Bells questions, dropping you into a pitfall, wearing ugly clothing, etc..
